Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour 12 cup (3 L) Bundt pan and set aside.
In medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spice. Set aside.
In large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat eggs in one at a time.
Stir flour mixture into butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Beat on low speed until batter is smooth.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 35-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes before inverting onto serving plate to cool completely. To serve, dust cake with icing sugar.
