Adds an earthy, mild pepper flavour to light coloured foods. Ground white pepper is the whole white berry of the perennial vine, Piper nigrum L. in which the fruit has been selected early for colour and the outer husks removed by slow soaking in water.
Club House Ground White Pepper is especially popular in white or light colored foods. Add to scrambled or stuffed eggs, omelets, mashed potatoes, fish and cauliflower. White pepper adds a distinct mild pepper flavour to foods. Use 1/4 tsp (1 mL ) for every 2 cups (500 mL ) mashed potatoes. Sprinkle in creamed soups, vichyssoise and clam chowder.
